This year the club is planning to offer a few opportunities to offset this fee for the freestyle members. Listed below are the planned options but note that these are subject to change, as the fundraising committee for this year has not met.

  • Sell Sall Foster Paper and Gift Products
    • The profit is around 50% of total sales however minimum amounts have to be sold to achieve the 50% profit margin. Information on this fundraiser should be forthcoming in August.
  • Spring Flower Sale
    • The profit on each pot is approximately $5. The information for this fundraiser should be mailed out in February/March 2009. The order deadline will be mid April 2009. All receipts should accompany the order form. Look for more information late winter or early spring 2009.
  • Outingz Coupon Books
    • The fundraiser will start September 1. More information will be available in August. I also have Outingz coupon books we can sell also. The books cost $25. Our group gets $9 profit from each book. If we sell 100 books, our profit is $10/book. Please call or email me with any questions that you may have. Happy selling!
  • Herbergers Coupon Books
    • Skaters can earn money to be credited towards their skating costs once they have raised their fundraising fee. We have an opportunity to sell coupon books for the Herberger's Community Days sale on Saturday, November 15th. These coupon books can be used at any Herberger's store. You will receive $5.00 credit for every $5.00 coupon book you sell. Each book has a $10 coupon in it that can be used for any item over $10. So your whole $5 goes back to the club, and you get $10 for every $5 you spend. You can use as many coupons as you want. (One coupon per $10 item). So if you need towels, buy 7 $11 towels(usually $77), use 7 coupons (cost you $35 all of it to your fundraising $$)- pay $7 cash at the store, You get your towels for $42 total AND get $35 for the club. It is a great deal!
    • We are giving each freestyle skater 15 books to start with. If you sell all 15 books you will have raised the whole fundraising fee. You can sell as many coupon books as you would like. You will just need to contact me and we can get them to you. I have to report our sales to Herberger's each week beginning September 30th . I will need you to email me weekly by Wednesday of each week with the number of books you have sold to date so that I can report it to them. Plus we can sell coupon books in the Herberger's store at a table beginning September 30th through November 14th. They will be given out in 2 hour shifts, so if you are interested I can set it up. Also if our group sells enough booklets we will qualify to receive credit from in store booklets sold at the cash registers. Additionally if our group is in the top 25% of participating non-profit groups we will divide books sold in-store on Saturday, November, 15th.
  • Poinsettia Sale
    • The profit on each plant is approximately $6.00. This fundraiser begins in November, orders are taken and the plants are usually delivered in early December.

Our History

The St. Cloud Figure Skating Club, incorporated under the laws of the State of Minnesota October 1973, accepted into membership by the USFSA in 1976, now provides skating to many area skaters year round.

Our Club

The St. Cloud Figure Skating Club is run by a Board of Directors, with many committees doing various duties. It is a non-profit, mostly volunteer club. All parents are strongly encouraged to become active in helping a great club become better.

Our Goal

Our main goal is to promote the advancement of figure skating in the St. Cloud and surrounding areas. St. Cloud Figure Skating Club members can contract for ice, participate in our annual ice show and competition.
